The last few books Jordan wrote were like pulling teeth, I missed the excitement and tight writign that was in Lord of Chaos and the books before that (EoTW excluded as that was just establishing the characters and world). Sanderson has done a good job in relating the events leading up to Tarmon Gaidon in a concise manner, without putting TOO much of his own spin on the story.

Were there mistakes and errors? Yes, anyone picking up the mantle of authorship after a series is as established and in depth as this one is going to make booboos. But will he tell the story true to how the original author wanted the EVENTS related? NOt necessarily in the vein that he would have related himself, but the meat of the matter the story is finished.

Sorry but after nearly 20 years. That's all I frickin want. So Matt doesn't sound just right... so frickin what. Moiraine was finally rescued and the taveren are finally all coming together.

THAT's what I care about. And kvetching about how it is written yet still reading it and PAYING to do so? I'm sorry that's more than a little hypocritical. if you hate it so darn much? don't read it and leave those of us who enjoy it to do so.
