Here's a transcript I typed of Harriet at the end of the audio version of the prologue to tGS:

"I'm Harriet McDougal. I'm the widow of the writer Robert Jordan, whose real name was James Rigney. I'm also, I'm the original editorial director of Tom Doherty Associates. With Tom and Jim Bain (spelling?) we started this tiny enterprise a long time ago. I was Robert Jordan's editor all the way through from his first published book 'The Fallon Blood' to the final one and am now working with Brandon Sanderson with the materials that my husband left to finish his great series, The Wheel of Time.

"There will be two more books in the series. Um, my husband had said, had announced that there would be one book to finish the series but the material he left could not be completed in less than 750,000 words, which is three very fat novels. And that's what happened, and I, and I think that both Brandon and I are fully convinced that if my darling Jim had been alive to do this himself, he would also have had to take three books to do it.

"The material that Robert Jordan left begins with the outline of what will now be the final three books. Ummm...notes, some scenes, and more words in unpublished notes than have been published so far in the entire Wheel of Time, plus the eleven existing books of the Wheel of Time, which constitute huge background for these last three. It was the week of my husband's death, a friend was visiting...she put in front of me a printout, and it was the eulogy for Robert Jordan that Brandon had posted on his website and I thought Brandon's eulogy was really beautiful and very loving. And I thought, gosh this guy, he knows, knows what this series is all about."
