I agree completely. It seems like most people thought she was the same, but they need to re-read where she was all... tender-like at Noal. She's downright nice in a few scenes. Now she's like this horrible horrible caricature villain.


Or when Tylin was frightened out of her wits and Tuon went out of her way to reassure her. Fortuona would just sit and watch her squirm. She's turned into Suroth! :(

I hate reading battle battle battle crap. I think there's plenty of time for the Rand/Tuon stuff. The Seanchan are planning on invading the White Tower ASAP, so the meeting will occur shortly after the attack (or the averted attack).


Yeah, battle scenes are like car chases in movies, très dull. I suspect it will be made even worse by clichéd dialogue at important moments. But wasn't there a prophecy about 'the great battle done, but the world not done with battle'? Maybe we'll get aftermath, rebuilding efforts etc. That would be fun.

Also I really am curious about what the last line of the book will be. RJ claimed he'd known what it was going to be from the beginning.
