Ok, totally random thought and, no I don't think this would happen, but what if Rand goes to a tea party that Fortuona throws and she's sittin' on the damned throne and someone throws a rock at her and hits her in the head. She slumps to the floor and Rand gets on his knees to see about her and voila! he's knelt before that dumb-assed throne
