We are in the realm of symbolism not literalism. Elayne is consistently referenced for her almost stupid bravery ... Sword... And is the scion of Andor ... lion ... Aviendha as an Aiel is by default dedicated and d'uh spears ... Min is the most obvious as a seerer of the future/pattern.
Maybe RJ didn't write some aspects of these characters to map to these descriptions to perfection, but the intent is more than obvious. Maybe Morgase, Amys and Elaida could replace the others, but that would be a ridiculous plot twist.
