The first time I read ToM, I went home from work early and stayed up until five in the morning, finishing the book the same day. (Well, techincally the next day.) I'm currently rereading for the first time, and it turns out I missed a lot of details. For example, I just noticed the scene where Gawyn pockets the Bloodknives' rings (Chapter 42). I've read a few theories after the release of ToM, but nothing mentioning these. Anyone have any thoughts, or know any interesting theories?

It was so the Seanchan captive in Caemlyn could recognize them & explain their significance.

Regardless, I'm anticipating a great reaction from Leilwin when she sees the rings on his neck. *NM*
