For the record, I still prefer how they say it in the audiobooks. Kaldric Send a noteboard - 05/03/2012 02:59:53 PM
Kate Reading uses three or four different pronunciations of Birgitte alone, depending on the book. And I don't believe I have heard the supposed correct pronunciation of Tar Valon on any of the audiobooks (apparently even the pronunciation in the glossary is wrong).

So what is the correct pronunciation?

For those curious, in the audiobooks, it's pronounced "Tar VAL-un"

Tar Val-AHN is apparently how it should be pronounced. At least, that's how Brandon Sanderson pronounces it, and other people who have heard it from Robert Jordan himself. It sounds wrong, though, so I still pronounce it the other way.
