There's a lot of hype surrounding Demandred, and it will be nice if some of it materializes. He was supposed to be almost as dangerous as Lews Therin, and while I believe that Rand is now far greater than Lews Therin ever was, it will be interesting to see if Demandred can deliver some good scenes. In particular I would like to see him demonstrate some amazing skills as a general and see him match up against Mat, and perhaps Rand. I'd also like to see if he can deliver some special channeling prowess, perhaps some special weaves or Talents.

I have a special desire to see him kidnap mindless Mesaana from the WT and use her in a circle, like some sort of twisted mixed angreal. I don't know if its even possible, but it would be wonderfully macabre and perverse.

I hope we do get something decent from Demandred. He's basically all there is left to provide some decent defense for the Shadow. Everyone else is dead or enslaved or tamed, and Moridin has never been a very exciting Forsaken.

I also think that Mat will kill him.
