I did a full re-read just before tGS came out, and I haven't decided whether or not to do another for AMoL. I will definitely read at least tGS and ToM before AMoL, though, just to have events fresh in my mind.

Much has been said about the format of the last two books, with extensive overlapping timelines, and I was wondering if reading both books simultaneously would make it a little smoother. I found a timeline (linked below) that tries to place each chapter of the last two books chronologically (spilling a little into KoD).

I'm really curious about how the story will flow. Has anyone tried to read it like this? I can foresee a few issues (Rand's epiphany, for example, likely would have cut back and forth between Rand's and Perrin's POV), but I'm wondering if it will work.
