If a group Aiel can't find you, you are either not there anymore (i.e. you are killed and/or disappeared in thin air), or you're an Aiel yourself trying to hide. Why hide, unless you have a reason to hide. She may have been caught in glimpses of glory and riches, just as Mat almost was in EofW.
Secondly, she snarled at Rand when he sees her in ACoS,Ch41. That indicates she doesn't want to have him near her. Why then seek him out in the first place? I would say to make sure he's not trying to steal her "riches".
It all stinks of EoA to me.
