I was envisioning the two skipping down a park trail, a puppy in tow, more than I was reading anything substantive. Not that anyone would ever expect such from him when it comes to "reviewing" WoT ;)

Its not in any sense a review. It wasn't even meant to be, as far as I can tell. And its quality is hardly the point, anyway.


But the point still stands that I don't think much of his "reviewing" in general when it comes to this series, as he has to embrace fully the role of a promoter here. Some people did find his turd polishing (the praising of CoT for example) to be misleading (not I, since I didn't read that book for almost 3 years after publication :P). *shrug*


I still remember his glowing review of Towers of Midnight. What a bunch of crap that was...

But that's why I stayed away from those parts of his "review". I really don't think we can say anything about how good/bad aMoL will be based on this.
