And even if snow didn't pass through, I still find it odd that projectiles can pass through while snow, rain, wind, and water would not. There's really no difference between a projectile and a snowflake, after all, aside from the origin of their motion, and I don't see how that could make a difference.


One other possibility is that the Aes Sedai have mastered the problem of air pressure... that it's taken care of as part of the Travelling weave, something that prevents air from one side to touch air from the other side. Anything else would pass through... objects, snowflakes and so on.

None but the Forsaken and Rand would know, as all the others just reproduce the weave without really understanding the details.

RJ no doubt had rules in place. It's just that no one ever thought of asking him about this in time.
