I don't recall her having much of a case against Siuan at that time ... Elayne had only just arrived in TV and was still safe as a kitten in the Tower under the supervision of hundreds of AS.

Do you mean her case against Moiraine? If so I'm not sure the BA would have given it much thought as Moiraine and Siuan had kept their friendship at a distance for 20 years.
