Most certainly if you grow up with specific cover for your books you are in many ways come to like them and then become nostalgic about them after some years. people complain about the Sweet covers now but when that day comes and they put different american covers on WoT then people are gonna miss the old ones.

They were quite ugly I think. The swedish covers are nicer than both the german and the french IMHO
