There were a few dozen Asha'man and Aes Sedai left when she got back, helpless in the face of hundreds of Sharans. Their only option was to escape the battlefield and attempt to regroup, which would have left the Sharan's free to annihilate the rest of the field.

And I don't know what you are complaining about. You keep arguing that Aes Sedai are not that important. And when they treat themselves that way, seeing their own lives as less important than overall success in the Last Battle, you have a problem with it? Why am I not surprised?
