Rand has just come out of a coma and is in Moridin's body. If he wants to disappear he has to do it quickly. He probably has little or no knowledge, other than the 3 bond mates, of which individuals know of his existence. At this point he is relying on the threes digression, to inform or not to inform, his inner circle.
