Ironically, the magic system was just too much for him. BS is great at creating his own systems and exploring their limits. Here, I got that feeling that he felt that RJ made people too powerful, and therefore he dealt with that by ignoring them or acting as if their power was limited.

All that said, he faced a monumental task, and this last book was a real page turner. It may not have been the last book that RJ dreamed or for which we hoped, but it was an ending, and an entertaining one at that.
