The series went to shit in Book 8, and this was just terribly executed and frankly stupid. The dialogue was awful, the storyline was terrible, Demandred remains the same as most of the Forsaken - a cardboard cutout of a villain who is created to fail.
Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.
