1. Mat and Rands little game of one upmanship in front of Tuon
This was horribly badly written, the POV seemed to change between the two of them and back to omni repeatdly throughout it.

2. Perrin fighting slayer
Whether it was his little personal wonderings about why sound can't travel thru a vacuum or the wat T'a'R now seems to work by manipulating minute physical details of the world, rather than by force of mind making whatever you think reality.
3. Sakarnen
read like a prop from a b sci fi.
4. Rands final battle with the Darkone.
The darkone was very dissapointing in the end. not a force of sheer evil or malice or not really anything really.
I didn't think anything was learned about the dark ones nature.
