The Dark One's Touch - Edit 1

The shifting walls and art work aren't they only evidence of the Dark One's touch in this chapter.

I think people with character flaws like Elaida will steadily become worse as the Dark One's touch on the world increases. After all that's what caused the Collapse before the War of Power.

"His touch subtly altered everything that came within its influence. All the baser motivations and emotional problems of mankind were enhanced and manipulated, enlarging envy, greed and anger despite lack of any true motivating factors. All those dissatisfied with their lot in life felt that dissatisfaction intensify. Thievery, assault, murder and even wars began to appear with increasing frequency."

Some people thought Elaida was acting a little too wacky, but I think we're going to see a lot of that behavior from a lot of people in the coming books.
