The TOR.com reread Artsapat Send a noteboard - 01/06/2013 11:24:52 AM

For the past few years, I have been loyally following the TOR.com re-read of the Wheel of Time. I utterly enjoyed Jenn L's commentary, and put some of my own thoughts in there. So I was kinda surprised to find I completely lost interest now that she's doing AMoL.
I think I read the first couple of chapters, but several weeks ago I just stopped. Anybody else have this?

And why is this? Is it because the series is now finished, and further theorizing (except for unresolved threads) is now pointless? Is it because I have only read it once, whereas I read the other books twice or more, therefore having invested more time and effort in them? Maybe it's because it's so recent and a re-read is pointless, unless the original read was some time ago. (I have absolutely no idea why they would do a re-read of Way of Kings by BS now, for example) Or it could be because the ending didn't feel completely satisfying for some reason?

Whatever it is: any other followers of the re-read and thoughts on these final chapters?

The mystery deepens... I think. *MySmiley*
