I'm about 1/3rd into tGH right now, and with the exception of Egwene being awful, I really haven't had much to comment on. I know there's some things I've missed in EotW, and there's a couple minor things so far (was someone actually watching Rand when he was trying to escape Fal Dara during the Amyrlin's entrance? And if so, were they channelers, since they seemed to be able to travel? And if so, was it Ishamael?), but I'm really awful at A. picking things out to ponder over, and B. remembering the few things I actually do pick out.

So for those reasons, I enjoy reading other people's notes more than coming up with my own, since I notice more when other people mention things, than when I think of 'em.
I just started a re-read a few weeks ago, started with NS then EoTW and have gotten to the point in TGH where Rand has just met Selene (i.e. Lanfear) in the Mirrorworld.
I'd forgotten what a really good book EoTW really was! It's been a long time since I've done a re-read so refreshing in my mind why I fell in love with the series in the first place has been great.

I can't say for sure, but I think it might have been a little deliberate or at least subconscious.
