His parents were killed by Aiel (right? I'm 87% sure), and I think he reacted... "badly" the first time he met Aviendha.


I think his father was - his mother died later (of sickness or famine). But he blames the Aiel for them both.

Reacted badly? I wonder what that would've been... Mat wouldn't have seen it happen?
