I really am trying to get through, in total, CoT. I've read every other part of the series so far and really want to get through one complete re-read. I just can't seem to get any traction.

In all seriousness, what can I possible miss by skipping chunks (or the rest) of this thing? I don't even remember any of this happening the first couple of times around, aside from small pieces of Mat/Tuon and the Elayne/Hanlon/Preggy thing.

Thoughts?

Not that hard at all to get through. I enjoyed the book, but if you really can't get into it I'd say to start KoD and don't worry about CoT if you don't get confused. If you get confused, just go back to CoT and look around.
