I am one of those people that does not like surprises and am more than happy to read spoilers. To determine whether or not you should look, ask yourself would you be upset knowing the spoiler before you get to the scene in the book, or because you don't know how it the spoiler happens, is that good enough for you even though you know the final outcome of the scene.

As far as this particular spoilers goes, I would place it in the middle level meaning it is about a character that has had some POVs throughout the books and has been in most of the books, but is not considered one of the main characters. The spoiler about this character is very big, though.
