If I remember correctly the big difference between the prophecies we know of is rather then saying 'He will bind the nine moons to serve him' the Seanchan version says 'He will kneel before the crystal throne' or something to that effect.

I don't remember where I read this or why exactly I believe it, but I was always under the impression that the Seanchan version of the prophecies was changed by Ishamael. I would love it if I could find the line (in the series or by RJ) that made me believe this.

However, I would like to point something out that occurred to me as I was reading. There is no longer a Daughter of the Nine Moons, Tuon/Fortuna is the Empress now. So it makes me wonder how will Rand can bind the nine moons to serve him when there is no longer a Daughter of the Nine Moons. And it makes me wonder if I've assumed the wrong prophecies were corrupted.

The only mention of corruption is about The Karaethon Cycle - 29/10/2009 05:57:29 AM 917 Views
So Seanchan Prophecies might still be Corrupted? - 29/10/2009 06:30:15 AM 824 Views
I still think that was Ishamael's doing - 29/10/2009 06:33:12 AM 764 Views
