Verin didn't know if it was Mat or Perrin who would show up, and I don't think she would give Perring something about Moiraine.
Yeah, but here is the thing. Verin hadn't taken the oaths. All she said is now suspect, at least in part. I don't really think it had anything to do with Moiraine, I was just tossing that out there.
