Honestly, RJ and Sanderson are very different writers and I'll just say, no disrespect intended, that BS has a writing style I find more clear and easier to get into. I especially loved how he basically condensed the initial POV of Gawyn (who I consider to be a smoewhat one-note character) into two-three pages, whereas I could easily see RJ stretching it from ten to twenty pages of filler.

P.S. I use BS to refer to the acronym for his name; not to be mean or critical.
