Edit: by the way, hadn't we concluded that blocking saidin/saidar also blocked someone from the TP...? Or am I misremembering that?
It brings up a lot of questions. If the link between the Chosen and the DO, just needs to be made, then the TP can be drawn upon, the Spider should have drawn it and balefired Nynaeve or Elayne early in her captivity. It wasn't until after her capture she was considered unworthy as a Chosen.
If it requires permission every time, that'd be less then useful. Travelling to Shayol Ghul, seeing the DO and going 'Oh Great Lord, between 3 and 4 next Tuesday I'll need to TP, can you make sure I can access it at that time'.
