Tavi is correct above, that only the actions of those killed by Balefire are removed from the new time sequence. Of course, there's room to prod and push the logic around this to contrive a paradox, and it's better to just let these things be and not think about it too much.

If you were to follow your line of reasoning, then Graendal ceased to exist before Rand actually balefired her, so how could he have balefired her?
