it very obvious at first. However, the longer it went on, the more I started looking for another possibility. I started to think it might have something to do with the fact that Aviendha never got close to Rand again after she arrived in Arad Doman. She was placing her own honor above the needs of the rest of the Aiel. But my first thoughts were correct.
