As have the Forsaken, for that matter.

That's always bugged me about the books. The AS went from mysterious, bad-ass magic women to total bitches. The Forsaken were even cooler and more bad-ass, and - although the story wouldn't be as good without Rand killing a few of them off in epic duels - they die way too easily, and apparently everyone and their grandmother is stronger than them in the Power.

Hopefully the Green will get its act together in time for TG. Perhaps led by their new Battle Amyrlin who considers herself raised from the Green.
