I also don't think that Rand is completely "Cleansed" now. He laughed at the end of TGS, but still has to shed tears (maybe when he meets Moiraine again). And after all, Rand's thread in the Pattern is still welded with Moridin's thread due to the balefire crossing.


do you think the shattering of his list will be the sole cause of his tears? I don't disagree, but other than that I really can't think of what would cause him to cry.
