Of course, when I asked who killed Asmodean and mentioned Slayer, he laughed and said it was stupid to even think that. It reinforced my own feelings on the subject. Slayer is a terrible choice.


Well, this - on the other hand - isn't really understandable, though. Slayer makes much more sense than e.g. Graendal or Lanfear, because he is an assassin/bounty hunter for the Shadow (i.e. it's his profession to kill people).

It was also stated at a recent signing that "Brandon refuses to confirm or deny that the One Power was used to kill Asmodean. He also mentions a Slayer scene deleted from the Shadow Rising which would have shown more about Slayer’s powers."

Apparently Slayer has some Powers we don't know about yet (though he mentions several gifts he got from the DO).
