Allowing cross-board posting encourages distinct forum communities, with no overlap. Why would SF/F people ever visit the WoT board if they knew "the cool people" would post their WoT opinions here? Obviously we all have our favorite boards, but the more we participate on the others, the stronger our community will be. We should encourage people to move around and read other sections, not cross-post content so they don't have to.
