This is a bit tangential to the talk below of Egwene and her sa'angreal and her circle of novices. I was wondering if Egwene's use of the circle and the sa'angreal forced her novices to reach their saidar potential sooner, as they would be safely forced against their current limitations, and have those amplified a great deal, for a goodly time. If circles can force power growth quickly then this may be important with the LB near, Egwene instructs novices to do their practicing in circles to reach potential as quickly as possible.
It's been mentioned before by Nynaeve during her instruction to the Windfinders with the bowl, that the circle buffers akin to the angreal in which that you can't force people to draw more. I think that as the a'dam are involuntary rings, and they use the ter'angreal to create the connection, a sul'dam can force a damane to draw more of the power.

We know little about forcing, other than a few offhand lines

I thought I remember one of our main characters being shot up to her potential quickly

Nynaeve reached her full potential after using the Choedan Kal - she was "forced" by all the Power

The Black Tower also has a huge mortality rate. At least a third, IIRC. Oddly, the Seancean are best
