The only possibly significant statement is Cadsuane's belief that one woman can hold her shield, but she's posting two or more to be careful.


Which is funny, because back in the earlier books someone Nyneave strength basically could break any shield from someone of average AS strength, except for that one Kin member with the special talent for shielding.

Semi is definitely around Nyneave's level, so what gives?


The difference is, those were instances of one weakling trying to shield a strong woman. Here, I think a linked circle, or Nynave/Cadsuane with an angreal make the shield, but it could be held by someone weaker.

Not unlike shielding Rand. They used thirteen, but only six were required to hold it.
