You might be right (probably are), but it seems that Egwene's story is starting to slightly mirror Rand's, with pain and hardening and so on. We know that Egwene will find herself hanging to the edge of a cliff (figuratively), where she will be rescued by a Seanchan woman who most people think will be Tuon (or, figuratively her army). In that moment Egwene will have her Veins of Gold breakthrough, and if it is Tuon who saves her then Tuon will have had her moment of realization FIRST.

Egwene, Rand , and Tuon will then kick everyones butt

Didn't that already happen at least figuratively? She was at the end of her rope in tGS, and then the Seanchan attacked which gave her a shot at glory/etc. Now she's Amyrlin of the entire united tower.
