Why ISN'T the game a mystical representation of what happened? Tom Send a noteboard - 13/11/2009 01:26:42 AM
It could be the remnant of a legend of what is about to happen, given what we know about the Wheel of Time being, well, circular and all.

Moridin and Rand isn't the only example. Luc and Isam somehow merged to become Slayer (no mechanism has been provided, from what I can tell). Logain is destined for great glory, and Egwene saw him step over Rand's corpse. Min's viewings are even closer on this point.

As for him being closer to Christ than the Beast, my point is that RJ set this whole thing up so that after T'armon Gaidon, the names "Dragon" and "Lews Therin" would be considered the embodiment of evil.

I take it you agree that Rand may end up in another body, but that you just don't agree with the Logain portion of the bodily transference idea.

As for Rand in another body marrying a daughter by Elayne, it's still sort of twisted even if it's not technically incest. ;)
Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.

– Procopius
