The Shadow already has a deficit of 10000 or so channelers. 1000 Aes Sedai, many thousands of damane, many thousands of Windfinders, many thousands of Wise Ones, and most of the Ashaman. Not to mention scores of angreal and sa'angreal vs Graendal's lone, balefired little ring angreal.
Demandred better have the whole Isle of the Madmen Trained up and 'gathered for war', or else the Shadow are in for one hell of an ass-whipping.

When Aviendah tried to put out the flames from the Lava-Man he resisted her channeling. I'm sure we'll see plenty of fades laughing off huge One Power fireballs and lightening bolts and asking the DO to do worse to the light-side armies.
