Just because one of the assassins was outside the Tower doesn't mean that the other four were already dead and contained. With their speed and near invisibility, I was actually shocked we didn't see any more disturbance from them. With their orders, and the emptiness of the majority of the Tower, they could easily have been wandering around the Tower and have picked off the sleeping girl laying unprotected in the hallway.


They still might - they have a lifetime of several days (AFTER activating the rings - and they can extend this by deactivating them).
