WoT movies would run into age problems for the actors if many movies were made...

You see the problem is that ANY attempt to make one movie then see how that does, then make another movie and see how that does, and then make movie #3 and see how that does, etc., etc. will fail miserably.
If they cast 17-20 year olds as Rand, Perrin, Mat, Egwene, etc. by the time they get around to making movie #12 (which probably will never happen) those actors would all be in their 30s. See the problem I'm talking about?
The Harry Potter movies ran into this problem. Hermione Granger in the last movie does not look anything at all like a 15/16 year old. The same thing for Ronald Weasley and Harry Potter. The actors playing those characters were grown men and it was obvious they were not 16 year olds.

Ha, if they wanted to do it right, they'd make at least three movies out of just the first book. *NM*

This is why I think it will be only one movie (or perhaps three)

I agree. Make the first 3 books into movies and end it. They can stand as a trilogy. *NM*

In addition to what's been said, I hope the prospect of movies won't delay the last two books. *NM*
