But that it gives one man the ability to destroy existence itself. No one should have that kind of power on their own. The other sa'angreal do not compare.


However, Rand would not have been able to cleanse Saidin without the CK. So I guess the argument is more that if the channeler cannot control themselves then the CK is dangerous. It seems to me that Rand was more concerned with his own mental state and the temptation to use the enormous amount of power that the CK represents.
