I forget by who, Dominic or NACLH2O or one of those other smart guys, that Pevarra and her scouting crew have been or are in the process of being turned. Reason being is that she is a likeable red, part of the BA hunter plotline that didn't contribute much but in this way can knock socks off, and that there is reason to speculate she would not be required to swear on the rod again once she returns to the tower. Turn them and mesanna keeps a snake in the tower and we are surprised and angry at evil. I like it. I forget who postulated this idea first, but it wasn't me, sorry to whoever it was.
