It's just the way in which Brandon writes which is more "mainstream" that allows you to make the comparison.
I'm just wondering how much RJ specified about this scene, and how much was BS. I wish I had been a storm leader to ask this question.
Don't get me wrong, I like BS and have read all his works save for the Alcatraz books, but I'm curious to know if he intentionally used Watchmen for inspiration on this scene.
