Hmmm Tigra Wildheart Send a noteboard - 24/11/2009 03:08:36 AM
I always thought Machin Shin was related to Mashadar. It is possible it is not, though.

My main idea is that Mordeth had the power to consume people's souls and inhabit their vacant body, which is what happened to Padan Fain.

Since Sammael was destroyed by Mashadar, my mini-theory is that Mordeth gained the ability to enter the Ways using Sammael's body, and in this way, can now command Shadowspawn and direct them through the Ways. It just seems like a possible way for Mashadar to ensure it's survival and mobility after Shadar Logoth had been destroyed.

But wouldn't Mordeth still be in Fain? If he took over his body why would he switch bodies to go inhabit Sammael? Also doesn't Mordeth have to touch to touch the person or take them outside the city to inhabit them? I don't think Sammael left the city and Mordeth's soul in Fain would have been hundreds of miles away at the time. I mean, its an interesting thought but I don't find how it could be plausible consindering the facts...

He still wouldn't have the Forsaken Mark that forces Shadowspawn to obey. *NM* - 20/11/2009 10:54:39 PM 184 Views
Perhaps he can re-create it now that Sammael has been absorbed by Mashadar. *NM* - 21/11/2009 01:13:04 AM 202 Views
I see no reason to believe that, if the best evidence for it is that it is not impossible. *NM* - 21/11/2009 04:03:08 AM 239 Views
I think it's an original idea though *NM* - 21/11/2009 10:13:45 AM 192 Views
Doesn't he still have the mark of the Dark One from being Tracker Fain? *NM* - 20/11/2009 11:00:18 PM 203 Views
That would be different from the Forsaken Mark - 21/11/2009 02:37:34 AM 471 Views

My mini-theory has to do with Mordeth/Mashadar choosing Sammael as a new vessel for itself. - 23/11/2009 05:40:00 PM 475 Views

I think that Sammael presents advantages that Fain's body doesn't. - 24/11/2009 02:25:16 PM 479 Views
But Fain wants to kill "al'Thor" himself. - 24/11/2009 02:57:29 PM 405 Views
