I'm so tired of mindless Trolloc assaults like the one at the Manor, where 100 000 Trollocs get obliterated in the blink of an eye, or the attack on the Two Rivers, where Perrin's bowman mowed down predictable waves of charging Trollocs without any meaningful tactical direction to guide them.

I guess we're up for more of the same come Tarmon Gaidon. Which will be soooo boring. Unless Demandred is even more of a strategic genius than even HE thinks. Which we know is not possible in RJ's world.

These two paragraphs contradict each other. We've only seen charging hordes with no planning. What happens when there is guidance? Remember that apart from the Trollocs (who will definitely outnumber the human armies), there are other hordes of Shadowspawn that are much much worse.

However, none of this matters. What does is that you're assuming that all the major Generals in the side of the Light are a)going to survive till the LB b)Not Darkfriends.

Now, Ituralde and Bryne are definitely not DFs. But that's all we know. Who knows how many Seanchan, Aiel and others are DFs?

How many Green-Blacks are good commanders? Mat, the super genius in battle, seems to respect Joline's understanding of Battle. How many other Greens can do the same, and will be capable commanders under Demandred?

It isn't as simple as one general vs. many.
