I agree with what's been said. The physical battle will be fought only to give Rand enough time to do what he has to. Given enough time, no amount of intelligent leaders could win the physical battle. The bad guys don't need smart leaders, they have numbers.

While supposedly the bad guys could win, we all know they won't. I agree with Etzel. While we already know the outcome, it's the journey that's rewarded and the how they'll win that I'm looking forward to reading about.


And apparently its only a few hundred thousand. So if the series is realistic, then our estimates of millions of Trollocs is way off.
