And the only option I can think of is she knew that removing the bracelet from Lanfear would burn her out.


Or possibly, she knew what it would do psychologically to Rand to kill a woman, and made sure Lanfear was super powerful and therefore unbeatable.


She saw this event when she went through the arches in Rhuidean. She set the stage so that the vision sequence would come true and she could rid Rand of Lanfear.
