She is a noble from the city which houses possible the greatest library in the world. I imagine she also had special access to books in the white tower. I only speculate this because I think she was an ally of Verin's. I do not believe she was BA, however I do believe Verin helped her in some way. Moiraine remarked that Verin could be trusted more than most AS...just a thought.
